Join our dedicated team in delivering specialized, compassionate care to oncology patients in a dynamic outpatient clinic. Expand your skills in a collaborative setting while assisting with minor surgical procedures and supporting patients through their cancer journey. We are an Adult Surgical Oncology Outpatient Clinic specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of tumor diseases. Our multidisciplinary team, including RNs, Medical Assistants, Clinical Support Technicians, social workers, pharmacists, nutritionists, and speech therapists, is committed to delivering holistic, patient-centered care. We strive to create a supportive and educational environment for both our patients and our team members.

Job Details

  • Assist with minor outpatient surgical procedures in a specialized oncology setting.
  • Manage pre- and post-surgical care for patients, ensuring safe and effective recovery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address complex oncology care needs.
  • Administer medications to manage symptoms and side effects from treatment.
  • Provide holistic, patient-centered care, addressing comfort, nutrition, and emotional needs.
  • Educate patients and their families, preparing them for procedures and ongoing care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive clinic environment, focused on quality and compassion.

Skills You Need

  • Active RN licensure in North Carolina and BLS certification.
  • At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in surgical or oncology care.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
  • A commitment to patient education and holistic care in a fast-paced clinic setting.
