Registered Nurse/Occupational Health Nurse position available now.
Position Summary: under the direction/supervision of the Eli Lilly Department Manager and Lilly Employee Health Medical Director. The Registered Nurse (RN) working within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act will provide direct patient care to employees for on-site emergencies, work-related injuries, assist with the required medical health surveillance examinations, and episodic illnesses.
Position is contracted through Favorite Healthcare Staffing.
Full time. Shifts: Sat & Sun 6a-6p, Mon 6p-6a
Key deliverables:
- Foster a partnership with Lilly corporate employee health services and the local health and safety team.
- Protect the well-being of the company’s employees through the provision of health surveillance examinations, wellness screenings, and episodic care.
- Assist the appropriate Lilly contact person with the coordination of health and wellness examinations, seminars, screenings and other health related activities.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of Lilly’s policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of NC license as a registered professional nurse.
- CPR for Health Care Provider certification.
- Prior experience in the corporate environment, ambulatory care, occupational medicine or emergency room nursing is preferred.
- Prior experience using EMR is helpful.
- Certification as an Occupational Health Nurse is preferred.
- Spirometry and Hearing Conservation Certifications preferred, but not required prior to hire
- ACLS certification preferred, but not required prior to hire
- Must be able to assess and treat according to the Nurse Practice Act.
- Must exhibit a high level of customer service and client responsiveness.
- Must be proficient in outlook, word and excel
